Pls critically help me into deciding this;?

i want to become an actress in bollywood but there r many restrictions before me ,first ,i think how should i disclose it 2 my parents second ,if the acting school i m thinking to join proves to be fake in not providing the placements ?.third ,what if these institutions in the name of providing placements lay the trap for sexual exploitation.even if i inquire into all this i can never get any clue coz these things r kept secret and also some girls for the sake of making an entry into film industry succumb to such an exploitation. fourth, i think if one eventually earns so much money in this profession then why the entry here is not that tough as that into IITs ,that means one has to always act under the direction of less educated people.?

Though I am not familiar with the Bollywood world from a business persepctive, perhaps I can provide some insight to some of your questions, nonetheless. First off, it should be possible to research the acting school you speak of attending. Start by googling the name of the place to get info; perhaps they even have a website. Call the school and get names of graduates who will provide references for the school. If you run into problems getting information from the school, that's a huge red flag.

You speak of girls succumbing to exploitation to get into the acting end of things. You imply this is a common method of getting into the business in India. If indeed it is, then you must decide what your'e willing to do in order to enter that business. Just to be clear, I'm responding to your question and DO NOT suggest you allow yourself to be exploited; I'm sickened by the thought that girls must endure any type of horrible degrading treatment in order to "make it".

I believe you've answered your own question about earning a lot of money without the entry into the business being that tough. Remember, there is never ever a free lunch. Get-rich schemes are designed to make the schemers rich without care or concern for people they lure into their trap.

If you love acting so much, then why not pursue it here, where you know it's legitimate but you can avoid the more exploitative elements, though they certainly do exist.

Another idea -- work for a legitimate producer here or in India (if you know how to connect in this world) to find out how to achieve your goal while keeping your integrity intact.

As for your parents, I don't have any suggestions there, as I don't know you personally or your situation at all. I do believe in pursuing one's goals and creating the life one desires. I trust you'll figure out a way. In fact, maybe your parents might have some ideas for you about whom to contact for help.
