I'm looking to buy a computer game that is either an rpg or fps or something of the sort. I just got a new laptop so I want a new game as well.

I totally recommend HalfLife. Its free to start and explore it. Besides its has caught on big time in Europe... the Swiss even have an embassy in the game!
