Hi ..im 12 and i want to know how to find auditions for the disney channel that wont rip you off?

I went to john robert powers for an audition ..then i got accepted...but there a big rip off.....DONT EVER GO THERE....unless your a spoiled rich kid. (lol) so i wanna find out how 2 get into disney stuff......

You need an agent. If oyu have one, they'll find audtitions for you to do.

Now, here's the catch. You don't get to chose what they look for. It is extremely difficult to get into any TV network, let alone Disney. Disney tends to use kids from very well known Child Acting Agencies. You will get nowhere very quickly without an agent.

You can find agents almost anywhere, but there is a cost. In fact, the drama business is full of many more costs than paychecks.

If you got accepted, but had to pay, thats the deal with the buz. You have to put in a heck of a lot before you can get anything out of it.

So, I suggest you join a Drama Class, because when Talent and Agents are out to scout, thats where they look. Try out for local theatre programs. Almost ALL of disney's kids started out in local theatre and drama classes.

Good luck, if you stay devoted and work really hard, the drama business can reward you. However, don't enter into it thinking of all the fun-times you'll have and the money you'll earn. It is more work than anything, since that is what it is.
