Harry potter?!

Question:

Harry potter?

why is harry potter is showing more anger in the fifth movie or fifth book. what is the reason behind this.

Answers:

There are 3 main factors:

- As stated by Ariel83, punk_avril4ever and cattier32, Harry is reflecting the typical behaviours of puberty, of coming of age. Anger is an emotion that starts to appear with more frequency during adolescency, and therefore he still does not know how to manage or control such anger, just like any other teenager. Let's take into account that there's no adult supervision or guidance for Harry as probably any other teen may have; ie, Harry does not have a parent or tutor to call to in times of distress.

- Harry just survived a really strong, traumatic experience. He just saw how a friend got killed by the very same guy that killed his parents, and was this close to also get killed by him. This naturally must have some kind of an impact on him. So imagine what happens when nobody believes him. Additionally he is kept on the dark around everything is happening. This desperation works as an accelerator of the natural anger he is experiencing because of his age.

- And finally -and probably most importantly-, I think in some way JK Rowling reflected her own emotions through Harry in this book. Remember that Harry does not have thoughts or feelings of his own, he is a creation of an author, and in this case the source of these emotion is the very JK Rowling. My personal belief is that this was the hardest times for her. She had a lot of pressure from the editors, she was all over the news, the 3rd installment had just being released, so a lot of things were going on for her. I think she just got exhausted and used the 5th book in a cathartic way. If you analyse the book, I am sure you can find a lot of similarity between the things happening to Harry with the things happening to the author in that time. For instance, having the press lying about him and her, and having him and her all the time on the front pages. And so on.

For these reasons, the 5th book is my favorite because it represents and reflects so much not only about Harry's world but about our current world. Also, I believe that your question actually is a very intelligent one, and analysts can use it to create very powerful essays. That's why I am giving you a star. :D
