Why are Black people so religious? And what's going on with BET?

I am Black and I used to like watching BET until they put gospel videos and shows on all morning.

I believe in God but I want to see life, not ideals. On the business side, MTV and VH1 are blowing them out the water with programming. It's sad and a little annoying.

This Christian thing is becoming overkill for me. It's EVERYWHERE. Forgive me feeling this way but I can;t stand it.

They show all these religious shows and then reruns and then the fun begins...the grills and the girls!

You can show positive programming without showing religious programming. Everyone is not a Christian. That's pigeonholing culture.

I don't have a problem with Christianity. But I do have a problem when that's all there is.

well i think it's a good thing. i'd much rather hear something about the Lord than watchin nasty chicks shake their stuff all up on my tv screen... nah mean?
