How do I set up my Fender Stratocaster,like the bridge , string height,pick up height?

My 1st string is rattling even if I set the bridge higher what should I do? I have been on this for a week?

Is it fret buzz? If it is not fret buzz your slot in the nut or bridge may have worn out. Try to place a small pcs of paper in the groove and see what happens. If the neck is twisted you need to take your guitar to a professional. Pick up distance is a tonal thing from player to player. The normal setup is 3/32 of an inch from the string to the pickup.
