Is there any point to making anymore horror films?, because society is so desensitized to any violence & shock

or spookyness...society cant be shocked or terrorized by any horror any more surely? society and people today have become to hardened...so hardened bruce willis face doesnt compare..so what shock and excitment will a horror film have anymore........there not like they used to be anyway, when you used to have that childlike fear towards horror flicks back in the day, thats what gave them their power having that childlike fear...plus back then they had original ideas and concepts...the simple original scare.

The best horror film I ever saw 'The Haunting' from the book 'The Haunting of Hill House'. The black and white one. The movie is so scary, for you don't see what you are fighting. To me that is more frighting then something you dream up for it come from my mind. I have demons that will never see the light of day. I have walked in place that would make you wet your pants or cry like a baby. Now is that a scary thought walking the dark corridors the human mind. I hope you have good dreams tonight knowing I'm in this world. You see a person scary you with just talking about fears and demons of the mind. Check the demon in your mind and ask one question is the world safe if you let your demons free.
