Alot of my friends have liked *Elfin Lied*,so I suggest you watch it!.also,the 2 *Higurashi* series as well!.

I like both, I don't care if it's mainstream or non-mainstream as long as it's good!.

Elfen Lied- 13 eps
Hell Girl
Night Head Genesis- 24 eps
Death Note- 37 eps

Some others too, but that just off the top of my head!.
