What are the seasons of "When they cry" or "Higurashi"?!

1!. So, how many seasons are there!? 3
2!. Which is the 1st season, 2nd season, etc!.!?

1st season - Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (26 Episodes)
Spinoff - Higurashi no naku koro ni Special Nekogoroshi (1 Episode)
2nd season - Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai (24 Episodes)
3rd season (OVA) - Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei (5 Episodes)

3!. Other than the original with the seasons, are there OVAs!? Should this be watch before or after the series!? Well, the only ova is Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei, which is not out yet!. As I listed, it is the last thing you watch when it comes out

4!. Is the live action of this any good!? I wouldn't know because I have not watched it!. The only reason I have not watched it is because I think they actually show all of the horrors like stabbing and this one scene (not going to spoil it) which was really creepy! I would not recommend for you to watch it if you are scared of live horror!. But if you can take anime horror, then go ahead

*~Well, 'Higurashi no Naku Koro ni' is definitely the first season haha!.!.!. its all where the 'question arc' will start so make sure you don't skip those!. There is 26 episode in this season!.!.!.!.

*~The second season should be Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai!. And this season will be the 'answer arc' for the first season!. There is 24 episode for this season though!.

*~People in Japan who had bought all nine of the DVDs of the first season had the chance to receive a special anime DVD entitled Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gaiden Nekogoroshi-hen, based on the short story that was given to those who had bought the manga!. Despite being a bonus for the first season, Nekogoroshi-hen featured the updated animation style featured in the second season!. So, its not really important to watch!.!.!.

*~There is third season of Higurashi called "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei or suppose we should called it OVA!.!. and its only have 5 episode!.

The live action is already aired and really I guess its interesting to watch but I prefer to watch anime more since anime has more explanation than a 2 hours up live action movie but if you have interest watching it, there's up a sequel but its only aired on May 2009 called "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Chikai!.!.!.!.!.

2!. Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni is the first season, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai is the second season!.
3!. The OVA is Nekogoroshi!. It's best to watch this between the two seasons!. I tried watching it after watching both, but it wasn't as good!. Watching it between will make more suspense and such!.
4!. Never seen it, but I heard it wasn't all that great!.!.!.
