Kikyo doesn't really love Inuyasha!. In fact, I'm pretty sure she's not even a female!. Kikyo wouldn't take Inuyasha for who he is, and she'll only take him as a human, not half-demon!. Kagome loves Inuyasha no matter what, and she'll always be by his side!. also, Kikyo just wanted to use Inuyasha just so he can become human, allowing the Sacred Jewel to use up all its power and then disappear so she won't have to take care of it anymore as a priestess, and so she can be a 'noramal' women!.!.!.BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT WON'T HAPPEN, BECAUSE KIKYO'S A MAN, AND SHE'S NOT NORMAL!
also, Inuyasha only experienced the affection of a human heart from Kikyo, and was his first time meeting a (not) human, so he started to love Kikyo, but its not really love!. See, Inuyasha just feels guilty, that's why he's so nice, but he really loves Kagome, NOT Kikyo!.
And Kagome wins! See, there is no reason why she should leave Inuyasha, especially since they are already married!. I guess Kikyo was just there to allow Inuyasha to meet Kagome!. Oh, and another reason Kagome should stay with Inuyasha is because Inuyasha can't live without her, and if she did leave (which she wouldn 't), that would TOTALLY break the whole Inugome thing!.!.!.
