Gaia users: Manga not really Mangas...?!

Question: Gaia users: Manga not really Mangas!.!.!.!?
Aren't most Mangas read right-to-left!? And any other picture with words and action is a comic!? Why aren't the Gaia mangas just called comics!? Or!.!. does it seem cooler that way!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
I think the staff refers to it as "manga" because Gaia is a very Anime/Manga focused site and it's drawn in a typical "manga" style!.

However, manga and comics are fundamentally the same thing, regardless of what order they're read in or what country they're from!. Most published manga is only read right-to-left because that's the reading order in Japan and flipping it for America tends to make the artwork look different!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, not all mangas necessarily read right - to left!. Sometimes the publishers decide to flippy it so it makes more sense to American readers, or some other reason!. If the manga has Japanese manga stories, or at least try to base it of manga style, I guess it's safe to classify them as "manga"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Maybe they just want to make it right-to-left maybe they don't want to make it a manga!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
