Does anyone else see the similarity between Max/Liz and Edward/Bella?!

I'm an avid fan of both the tv show "Roswell" and the "Twilight" saga!. And lately I've noticed the similarities between Max and Liz's relationship (Roswell) and Edward and Bella's (Twilight)!.

Here are the similarities I've found!.!.!.

Non-Human:
-Max is an alien and in love with Liz, a human
-Edward is a vampire and in love with Bella, a human

Both couples aren't suppose to be together

Damsel in Distress:
-Liz is shot and Max heals her
-Bella is almost ran over by a van

Good vs!. Evil
-There are good aliens and bad aliens
-There are good vampires and bad vampires

Split Up:
-For a whole season Max and Liz are not together
-In "New Moon" Edward and Bella aren't together

Powers:
-Aliens - Healing/Manipulate molecular structure/Dream Walking
-Vampires - Super Strength/Mind Reading/Super Speed
(Not all the powers, but both groups can basically do anything)

Becoming Non-Human:
-Because Max healed Liz, she later develops alien powers
-Bella turns into a vampire

Both couples end up getting married

Characters (Roswell = Twilight)
-Liz = Bella
-Max = Edward
-Michael = Emmet/Jasper
-Isabel = Rosalie
(okay, they're not exactly alike, but similar)
