Toonami was originally created as a complete wing of Cartoon Network devoted to anime with its own department and staff within the company, with the thinking being that if they were devoted to it, they would do a better job of establishing relationships with anime producers/distributors and get better quality at a lower price!.
However, by the time Toonami was ended, Naruto was the only anime left in their control!. As such, the purpose of the department was not longer there, the depertment was eliminated, and the employees from that department were moved to other parts of the company!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think that they started running out of anime shows and stuff!. They either ended or got bad ratings!. They decided to change it to strict comedy cartoons like Johnny Test and Total Drama Island!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
