How is the name "Xavier" pronounced?!

Question: How is the name "Xavier" pronounced!?
Is it "Ex-avier", or "Zavier"!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Its Ex-zavier or Zavier!. In Xmen its Ex-zavier (since well X is pronounced ecks which sounds close to ex-z so it actually ecksavier) but in English language it is just Zavier if X is said to be silent thus taking a Z sound!. Basically depends if you are pronunciating X without being silent its Ex -zavier if silent then Zavier!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's pronounced ZAY-vee-er!. As in Xavier University!. I conducted joint training exercises in ROTC with OSU and Xavier, and that's how they referred to their university!. ZAY-vee-er!.

*Edit* - I should have looked at my own link:
ecks-ZAY-vee-er or ig-ZAY-vee-er are also common!.
Although they did pronounce their university as ZAY-vee-er!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Depends on the person!. Zavier is more common, but the leader of the X-Men pronounces his name Exavier!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think it's most common "Ex-avier" but I've met a guy who pronounced his name "Zavier"!. It depends on the person!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
