The show's basically about a boy who finds a notebook that can kill people when he writes their names while picturing their faces (the Death Note)!. He starts killing criminals with heart attacks to let the worls know that there's a "god" punishing criminals!. The ICPO find out and the worls's best detective, L, gets on the case!. It's a game of cat and mouse between Light (the boy with the death note, that's his name :p) and L + the Japanese police!.

Summary: A teenager, Light Yagami, finds a black notebook on a groud called the Death Note!. He opens it, finds the rules in English, reads "The person whose name is written in this Death Note shall die", and he treats it as if its a joke!. He takes it home anyway!. He reads the rules!. The TV was on at the time!. He puts in a criminal's name just for the heck of it!. At the end of 40 secs, the criminal on tv died!. Shocked, he couldn't believe it!. He went to cram school, and tested it on another!. Afterwards, he was convinced, but he was debating if he could do it!. 5 days later, a shinigami, a death god, came to him, telling him that he owns the Death Note, but he won't do a thing to him!. Light showed the shinigami all the names that he has written down in the Death Note!. The pages were covered with criminal names!. Light decided that he will rid the world of evil!. The shinigami, Ryuk, watches, feeling interested!. Over at the ICPU, there was a meeting will all the head chiefs from all over the world!. They weren't sure of what to do!. So, L and Watari comes in, telling them that they shall help!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Its basicly about this teen called Light!. He one day after school finds himself finding this book called "Death note"!. In the front of the book it gives direction on how the book works!.!. For ex: You right down the name of the person and in i believe 60seconds they'll die!. Once light figures out that this works, he starts to kill people who he believe are bad like: Prisoners, Business men(evil men), People agaisnt him and so on!. A little later on the police figure this out and then try to kill light!. With the cops is L!. He is working with the police to crack down light and stop this!.
