Question: 2D animation help!?!?!? please!?
Hi I'm 14 and i got a lightbox I'm wanting to do a simple animation with it but my question is after drawing all the pages what do i do next scan on to the computer what!.

After doing your drawings you need to either scan/shoot your drawings somehow to get them on the computer!. You can scan your drawings, but scanning takes the longest time!. You can also use either a webcam, camcorder or digital camera to take pictures of your drawings to get them onto your PC!. I can tell that the guy in the link you put up used a digital camera because you can see the light flicker and change the color of the paper!. A webcam or camcorder can also be recognized by animation programs and used to import the drawings directly into a program as you shoot them!. Using a webcam and a free pencil test program is the quickest and cheapest way to line test your work!. If you plan to color your animation digitally, you can scan all your drawings after you've finished line testing and gotten your animation just the way you want it!.

As for programs, old school drawn on paper frame by frame stuff, I'd suggest MonkeyJam!. It's free!.
