Question: Do you agree or disagree that cartoon network is starting to suck!?
Cartoon network doesn't even show Naruto every week anymore!. They only show it every other week and it's only one episode instead of two like it use to be!. Cartoon network got rid of all the anime classics such as DBZ, Sailor Moon, Gundam Wing and the list goes on!. Now to make things worst they have started showing non cartoon movies every week!. They showed Spiderman, Men In Black and other movies in place of Naruto for several weeks and they are planning to continue to do so!. So please do not support the non cartoon movies they show!. I mean it's called "cartoon" network for a reason!. So they should not be showing non cartoon movies!. I think cartoon network is certified trash right now!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i grew up with cartoon network and watched every single show they had!. Dexter, cow and chicken, johnny bravo, pokemon, DBZ, and etc! and whenever my little brother starts watching cartoon network i take a glance and i literally am flabbergasted at their new shows!.!.!. i agree cartoon network is starting to suck!.!. it's becoming like disney channel/nickelodeon which is just wrong!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I agree that Cartoon Network is starting to really suck! I would rather see classic cartoons like Tom and Jerry, The Jetsons, GI Joe then to watch the live action movies!. When you watch Cartoon Network you want to see cartoons, and don't get me started on Naruto, I'm hoping the reason they are stretching the episodes out is because they are still trying to get Naruto Shippuden!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
all I have to say is that I feel sorry for the young kids now in this generation who have to grow up with Hannah Montana and all that other crap!. After all the greatness of the 90s has disappeared as different kid channels like CN, Nick, and Disney have tried waaay too hard to get better and only end up sucking in the process!. I started hating Cartoon Network after they took away Sailor Moon and then made Inuyasha come on so early in the mornin!. I don't think cartoon network is starting to suck I think its been sucking for a while!. But I do like adult swim although FMA is never on anymore:( Oh and I totally agree with you about the live action movies! I was so pissed when they made that show about the kid who has like a brain tumor or something!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

For all intents and purposes Adult Swim used to be the unoficial "anime" network where anime fans would get their anime fix!. I remember walking around a Hastings video store one time, seeing a bunch of anime series and thinking "okay why don't they show this on CN!?" Ever since CN got rid of Toonami, it just hasn't been the same!.
I will be inclined to agree, they need to start showing some more anime again, plus, since "adult swim" is supposedly for people between ages 18 through 34, what the hell is up with kid's anime!? The only adult level anime they showed, which actual grown adults in japan watch, is Ghost in the Shell!. I have pointed out before, that if you want to know the target audience of an anime show, look at the age of the main protagonists!. The youngest characer in GITS is 26 years old, and the oldest, is their chief who is in his 60's!. Motoko Kusanagi the main character is a Major, and she's in her mid 30's!. In other words the GITS anime is an adult's only club, no kids allowed and indeed, often times the GITS plot tends to be full of political commentary and contemporary Japanese social issues that are a bit too "grown up" for children!.
Its sad really though; I personally find it a bit pathetic, how sometimes 28 year olds will watch Naruto!.
Ah, to all 20 something people out there who watch Naruto!.!.!.!. the main character is a 10 year old!. THINK ABOUT THAT!.
Grow the hell up and watch stuff like GITS, or Jin Ro the Wolf Brigade! Or Golgo 13 even!
Now, justice league and the like is forgivable, even though its meant for kids, the saving grace being that the shows have legendary "vintage americana" heroes!. If it wasn't for the fact that Superman and Batman are in it, like hell I would watch it, I'm in my late 20's now!.
While tastes in entertainment have nothing to do with maturity, even then, outgrowing certain shows and plot elements becomes a natural thing!. Golgo 13, appeals to me more than DBZ!. DBZ USED to appeal to me, back when I was 19 that is!. If I was still 19 I'd probably be able to get into Naruto, but, not because I am voluntarily not watching, so much as the fact that there are inevitable psychological changes that take place no matter what as you get older!.
Some heroes you do not outgrow (like Spiderman, Batman, and Superman), most everything else though people please, if it doesn't appeal to you, it doesn't appeal to you, so please grow up and give shows like Golgo 13 or GITS a chance!. Perhaps CN might take notice and start showing a lot more adult oriented anime from now on!.
