Question: Anyone familiar with Gaiman's Sandman series!?
I am huge fan of Neil Gaiman's novels!. However, I have never been a fan of comics like Superman or graphic novels in particular!. I am intrigued by the Sandman series though and would like very much to read it!. The only thing is I can find my way through the comic world!. Where do I begin!? Are there volume numbers because I checked ebay and can't seem to find any!? Has the series come to a close or is it still active!? Would they sell these books at Barnes and Noble/Borders!? Sandman comics have a large following!. The comic book series has ended but DC Comics make related specials from time to time!. The first comic (#1) is valued at $20!.00 according to the Wizard Price Guide!. As you want to read them for enjoyment and not for value!. I would recommend purchasing reprinted collections know as Trade Paper Backs!. This would cover the entire series of 75 comics in four books!. The first one is titled "Preludes & Nocturnes!. The second one is the "Doll's House"!. The third one is "Dream Country"!. And the fourth one is "Season of Mists"!. The price tag on these books are between $15!.00 - $20!.00!. You can visit your local comic store and if they don't have it they can order it for you!. You could probably find them at Amazon!.com, EBay, & Barnes & Nobles as well!.
