There's no way of telling what was in the box, but my guess is something letting Jill know to frame Strahm!. That kind of answers your other question, she hints, towards Erickson, that Strahm is following her, the bigger question is whether she is just saying someone is following her to raise Erickson's suspicion of Strohm, or something else totally is in the box and Strohm was really following her!. Her setting Erickson up to follow Strahm could be contributing to Saw VI!.
Where the glass box is at is just a little thing that I don't think really matters it will just give Saw VI a starting place!.
