Question: Introduce a n00b with a Dry Sarcastic Wit to Manga and Anime!?
I want to get into Anime and Manga so what are some I should check out!? Nothing over the top unrealistic though!.Don't do the Harry Potter/Lord of The Ring type fantasy stuff!.If it has a dry sarcastic tone even better!.Something along the lines of Daria humor wise!.I am a n00b at Anime and Manga so please give descriptions if you can!.also links would be beneficialWww@Enter-QA@Com

Whatever catches your eye without making you feel like you gotta know about the entire series/sub-series/expanded series before even attempting to watch/read it!.

well since you dont really like a lot of fantasy things!.!.!.how about you try something that is more realistic!?
maybe like Monster!.
its about a brain surgeon who has a job in germany and he's doing alright!. his boss has a daughter who's engaged to him and the boss told him that he will get promoted soon, since he's really good at surgery!.!.!.but one day a little boy is brought into the hospital with a gunshot in his head and tenma wants to operate him, but at the same time a more 'important' person is brought in!.!.!.an opera singer!.!.the boss wants the docter to operate him, but DR!. decides to save the lil boy!.
he dosent lose his job, but he loses his promotion and his stupid ***** wife dumps him cuz she's embarassed to be seen with him!. the DR!. fcked up his life by doing the right thing, and thats saving a little kid!.!.!.!.but it was not really the right thing to do!. 10 yrs later the kid swears he's a MONSTER and starts killing ppl!. he thinks its his job to stop the monster he saved!.!.!.and thats only the beggining!

as for a manga, try reading Dolls by naked ape, its cool and has action in it!.!.!.
