I have a very large animation collection going back to the black & white ones done in the 30s!. Porky Pig was mostly used as a character for Daffy Duck to make fun of, kind of like the early Elmer Fudd being on the receiving end of Bugs Bunny's antics!.

For someone who only has one memorable comic ploy (his stutter), Porky has been remarkably resilient and was one of the better known cartoon characters in the Warner Brothers stable!. He's largely been retired not because he's "tiresome" but because he is now "politically incorrect" and can be consider as a figure who makes fun of the handicapped!. I rather miss him!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
