What do you think about the ending of Code Geass R2?!

Question: What do you think about the ending of Code Geass R2!?
I know that the ending of R2 has been discussed all over the net but honestly, I am still a bit confused about it!. Do you think that Lelouch died or did he become immortal!? First and foremost, I honestly believe that he died due to the lack of solid evidence of the possibility of him attaining immortality!. A lot of people on the net have been saying that it's possible for him to have obtained Charles's code of immortality when Charles was choking him in the World of C!. I honestly believe that mere physical contact is not enough in order for the code to transfer to another person!. As for Lelouch being the wagon driver in the end, I think that's total BS!. That wagon driver could just be another common man who was placed in that position in order to further confuse the audience!. I totally applaud Sunrise for making the audience contemplate about what could have possibly happened!. Anyways, last 2 questions: Is it a requirement for the original giver of the geass (in this case CC) to die in order for the code to be passed to the receiver (in this case Lelouch)!? Is it possible for the person to obtain the code from someone (in this case Charles) who possesses it even though he was not the one who originally granted the person the geass!? If only these 2 questions could be answered for me, I'll be able to come up with my final conclusion!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
i think lelouch died because he was still able to use his geass after charles disappeared and you have to trade your geass for the code
so that trumps all those theories about lelouch really being the wagon driver

Is it a requirement for the original giver of the geass (in this case CC) to die in order for the code to be passed to the receiver (in this case Lelouch)!?
no i don't think so
v!.v!. was still alive after charles took his code
he died soon after but i think that was because he wasn't allowed the chance to heal first
charles took his code while he was still injured from lelouch and cornelia's attacks

Is it possible for the person to obtain the code from someone (in this case Charles) who possesses it even though he was not the one who originally granted the person the geass!?
that was never explained but i have heard a theory that because lelouch didn't receive his geass from charles that he was able to keep the geass and the code
but i think its wrong
because it's pretty much implied through out the show that it's hard to trade the geass for the code
it took a long time for charles to trade for his and c!.c!. too
plus she's been trying to trade her code for a long time so she can finally die

i believe that he is still alive!.!.!.!.the crane in the end proved it!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I kind of agree with you, but there is evidence that he is still alive!. When Nunnally touched Lelouch, she saw his memories which throughout the whole show only happened to CC who is also the only one with the Code other than VV!. This tells us that somehow Lelouch got a code from someone, maybe Charles or CC!. It was never stated that to transfer a code, the person dies, VV was really injured when he transferred the code to Charles and the Nun in CC's memories died because she killed herself after she transferred the code to CC because there was a lot of blood on her and CC!. About the second question, we don't know!. I guess it would be okay, because we know that VV gave Charles his Geass, but CC was willing to let Charles have her Code so it is possible to get a Code from someone who didn't give you your Geass!. And you need to have the highest level of Geass to obtain a Code which Lelouch got in the World of C when he "killed" Charles!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Finally! Someone explained it properly!. The fans really like building theories!.

No, I don't think so!. It's kind of confusing!. The scene of V!.V!. dying has little proof that you can use, though not good enough!. (a) V!.V!. passed the code to Charles before he goes to battle, that's why he died after losing lots of blood!. or, (b) After V!.V!. died, the code suddenly transferred to Charles!. The (a) supports that the giver do not have to die for the code to be transferred!. I think (a) is correct because the giver has to choose the person he/she would like to give the code to!.
Ex!. C!.C!. gave geass to two people --- to Lelouch and to the guy with the hearing!. If C!.C!. died, the guy with the hearing would have gotten immortality, and C!.C!. did not want that, that's why C!.C!. left him for Lelouch!.
C!.C!. just wanted to die after giving the code to Lelouch, she did not have to die!.
---> wait a sec, then this might support that C!.C!. might have given Lelouch the code before he got stabbed by Suzaku!.
---> So, I guess!.!.!. if i want to support that Lelouch died, then I have to agree with (b)!.

All I know is that the passing of the code to the one you didn't grant geass is not possible!. If it is, then C!.C!. could have done it the first time he gave geass to Lelouch (or, at C!.C!.'s past, the nun could have done it after she gave the geass to C!.C!.)!.

It's confusing, sorry if I'm not of that much help!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Good job on putting this question of confusion!. It's just some people think it's better off that Lelouch to live!.

I strongly agree with the ones who said the Lelouch died!.
I agree with Rumika for both of the questions, and yummy!.

About the Nunally getting some vision!.!.!. maybe Nunally was the one who received the code lol!. Remember when C!.C!. touched the pink-haired girl (one of the elites of the king) --- both of them saw something!.

It does take a long time for the code to be transferred!. I think the geass has to be complete by being used a lot --- Lelouch achieved the completeness when he can't control it, probably!.

Anyways, i think it'd better if we ask the maker of Code Geass!. Or, maybe it won't be much fun anymore if we did lol!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
