Me and my friend don't know if manga is specifically Japanese, or if it is all of Asia!.

"Manga" is specifically Japanese, but it has been created and adapted by various other cultures, including Western ones!.
Another example of manga adapation would be 'Manhwa', which is Korean manga!.
These adaptions are similar to 'manga', but have their own unique traits as well!.

If you mean, in Japanese, then no!.!.!.many manga are translated into English, just like anime!. The stuff in Japanese can help you with your study of the Japanese language!. In fact, there are several textbooks set up for just that purpose, such as Japanese in Mangaland!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

But what they do, "to get that manga reading thing" is that the books reads form right-to-left
