Why is Kira Yamato the most effective when it comes to beam sabers?!
Question: Why is Kira Yamato the most effective when it comes to beam sabers!?
First off, only answer this question if you have watched Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny!.
I want someone to give me some reasonable arguments as to why Kira (pilot of the Strike, Freedom and Strike Freedom) the best when wielding beam sabers!.
What I think:
1) Kira is the only person in SEED who actually dual wielded beam sabers!. He did so marvelously!.
2) Kira is the only pilot ever to deflect (on multiple occasions) many beams that were directly aimed at him which if he screwed up he would be dead!.
3) Kira (with addition of the Freedom's agility) is able to cut down 2 suits in the blink of an eye!. He slices one, the rotates nearly 180 degrees and slices another before moving on!.

It is more a question of was that the best and most efficient weapon for him to use or not!. Remember that Kira has had his genes altered which means he could probably handle any weapon with magnificent experience!. The same could be said for Athrun!. But when it comes down to it then you have to look at whether the weapon fit the situation and whether the other pilots had beam sabers on their gundams!. also historically speaking the lead Gundam is usually the one with the beam saber while the rest either have some other kind of beam weapon or none at all!. Just look at Gundam Wing and Heero Yuy!. There's also the 08th MS Team series!. However seeing as to how Athrun rarely if ever pulled his beam saber (I can't remember for sure but if he did it wasn't significant) we will never be able to tell who is superior!. also if you take note the Gundams in Gundam Seed are actually just compiled pieces from the Gundams in all of the other series!.
