I love Hunter x Hunter! It's my fave anime ever!

I love Hunter X Hunter! It has grown to become my second favorite (right after Trigun) anime of all time!. I love the settings and scenery!. There is so much detail put into the trees, lakes and wildlife that it is simply jaw dropping!. I love Gon's sense of justice and his will to keep fighting even though he seems out-manned!. Killua seems like this dark, empty-hearted vagrant but grows to become a caring and loyal best-friend!. Now I'm not going to include any details (I hate spoilers) but I will recommend this to everyone!.
Naruto isn't too much like this anime!. The character here is far more intelligent than Naruto, the drawing style is way different!. and lastly Naruto is the main focus in his anime, whereas Hunter X Hunter switches from character plot to character plot!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm a HUGE fan of Hunter X Hunter although it's only my 2nd fave manga of all time (1st being JoJo's Bizarre Adventures)!.
The characters are diverse not only in personalities but also power / abilities!. The drawing is simple but powerful!. Plot, one word!.!.!.FANTASTIC!
Chimera Ant arc & Genei Ryodan arc are my favorites (so far)!. And I really like the characters in Genei Ryodan!. Their powers and abilities are fun and amusing to watch!.

I like Hunter x Hunter, along with Berserk, Yuyu Hakusho, and Flame of Recca!. These old animes got all the originality with them!. What I like about them is the fact that the power of different characters are creative and not repetitive!. They are oldies but great to watch!.

it's kind of similar to Yu Yu Hakusho in a way,but it can stand alone as a different story!.

Yeah! Love the series!
One of the reason I love it because the ability is kinda unique in some way!. If you read the manga (the anime didn't have Chimera Ant arc), you'll see one character named Knuckles!. His ability revolved around loan, and some mathematical stuff!.
Not to mention Killua new ability! God Speed! That is scientifically accurate too (you can do a lot with electricity ya know)
The villain is really cool and unique!. From Genei Ryodan to Bomber and now we have Chimera Ant!. It's a different feeling each times!.
The storyline also gives you the anticipating feeling!. What's gonna happen next!?
I still can't believe I've waited for 2 years for the next volume to come out (I don't know the existence of reading online manga at the time)!.
I waited 2 years between Vol 23 - Vol 24, and 8 month for Vol 24 - Vol 25 because of those stupid hiatus!
Urgh, I hate that annoying Yoshiro Togashi (in a good way)! He's taking a hiatus for the 3rd times already! I wanted the series to continue! And yet, I don't want it to be over soon! I hope he will comes back from the series soon!. Please!

Anyway, about Naruto copying Hunter X Hunter, there's two 'coincidence' that I found after reading the two series!.
1!. Hunter Exam > Chunin Exam
I prefer Hunter Exam because it's not mainly about fighting!. Personally, Hunter Exam is more fit to becomes a Ninja because you must do stealth fighting, endurance and most importantly you must come out with a strategy to beat your opponent!.
Chunin Exam is mainly about surviving, ironically, that is more fit to becomes a Hunter (!?!)
2!. Nen > 6 elements of chakra!.
This is the obvious one!. I mean, before this, HxH is unique because they separate people into 6 different type of Hatsu;
- Enhancement
- Emission
- Manipulation
- Conjuration
- Transmutation
- Specialization
And they said, one person can only have one type of Hatsu, although they can still learn the other type, and there's some cases where the user can have two different type of Hatsu (Kurapika case)
Now, Naruto kinda 'stole' the idea by introducing
- Earth
- Water
- Wind
- Fire
- Lighting
They said one person normally will have one of those elements, but they can still learn others element!.
However, unlike HxH, in Narutothere isn't a strict rules to learn others element!. HxH told you that you can only have ONE type of Hatsu, and if you learn other type, you'll be in a lot of trouble balancing your Nen (Castro cases)
They also has some kinda similar way to detect what type of Hatsu and Chakra the user have!.
In Hunter X Hunter they used water divination test while in Naruto they test it by holding a piece of paper!.
Both series are good, and unique in some way!. Naruto storyline kinda messed up a little because they have a lot of side character and we rarely see Naruto stand up on the series right now!. It's just a simple and typical 'get stronger and value friendship' type of character!. Kinda distracted the direction of the main character in their recent chapter!.
I mean, they start really good, by having this ninja mission!. But after they introduced 'Sasuke retrieval' arcs, the main storyline becomes a bit of messed since now Naruto only wanted to brings Sasuke back to Konoha!.
While in Hunter X Hunter, the main focus is still about Gon, his goal in life and his friendship with Killua!. The arc is different from times to times!. First we have Hunter Exam, then Killua retrieval arc (hey, this one also quite the same with Naruto!), then we see Gon and Killua training to get stronger!. After that we get the Genei Ryodan vs Kurapika arcs combined with Gon searching for his father arcs!. It didn't get distracted at all!. Then we get Greed Island arcs and after the arcs finished, they jump straightly to the current arcs - Chimera Ant!. Which showed you they really well organized and you don't really get confused throughout the series!.
The best things about Naruto though, they really goes deeper in the relationship theme!. I personally like Sasuke vs Itachi storyline!. That one really brings a lot of emotion!.
Hunter X Hunter looks a bit childish and not serious for some people that doesn't give the series a chance!. Well, they have to read Genei Ryodan arcs and get to know Killua character on the beginning (he simply killed without mercy) before jump to a conclusion!. This series also has complex relationship (Gon and Killua) too!.
