Pete Townshend (The Who) and Anime?!

Question: Pete Townshend (The Who) and Anime!?
OK, I just picked up a book entitled, "Japanamerica: How Japanese Pop Culture Has Invaded The U!.S!." So far, a really good book!. When I set it down, I noticed one of the praises of the book signed by, of all things, Pete Townshend of The Who!. I know that he has written several books himself, but I had no idea he was into Japanese culture (of course, I didn't know Robin Williams was an Otaku for years)!. Is he an Otaku, or is this just one book he has praised!? BTW, I can't find anything about it on any sites related to him!. Ideas!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Lol, Yggdrasil good to see you again!.

I picked up that book a couple years ago for a term paper I had to write and wondered the exact same thing!.

I haven't found any evidence to suggest that he is!.!.!.but then again he might be!. You never know and you can always hope!.!.!.

Or he might be one of those people who call themselves "into Japanese culture" just because he watched one of the more mainstream, but acclaimed anime like Cowboy Bebop or something and "liked it"!. (I had to add the acclaimed part!.!.!.the thought of Pete Townshend being a closet Narutard hurts my brain too much!. @_@)

Or!.!.!.perhaps he just likes hentai!? ^_^

Meh, I couldn't find anything in my searches either!. Perhaps we shall get a different answer!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
