No it hasn't!. Disney got the rights to the show along with most of Marvel's other cartoon titles!. I think Disney may have purchased them in the late 90s when Marvel went bankrupt but I can't find any sources that confirm whether or not that it actually how they acquired them!. Anyways, like most of Disney's other cartoon series, they seem to refuse to release the X-Men Animated Series, the Spider-Man Animated Series, etc even though they are among the most requested DVDs out there!. I don't have a good explanation for why Disney doesn't like to make money off their shows or shows that they own the rights to!.
I've heard rumors that Marvel is trying to buy back the rights to their cartoons so that they can release them on DVD, but Disney supposedly refuses to even sell them the rights!. There is a different company that got the distribution rights for other parts of the world, so they are releasing them in the UK and what not!. If you really want them on DVD now, you can buy a Region Free DVD player which will allow you to watch the Region 2 DVDs from the UK!.
You can also buy bootleg copies from various websites (www!.ioffer!.com is the only one that I can think of off the top of my head)!. They are most likely from people who recorded the show on their VCR and copied them onto DVDs or whatever, so it is definitely a case of buyer beware if you do decide to purchase from them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
