B!.S!. Episodes in Anime that don't appear in the Original Manga!. Mainly they put them in as a Gap Maker when the Anime catches up with Manga!.
They have 3 Choices when they Catch up!.
1 - Pause, just stop the anime for a month or two!. (sometimes)
2 - End, Just End it there with a Semi-plausible Ending!. (almost never)
3 - Filler, Make up side stories that Waste Time, to let the Manga get farther along!. (All the Time, and sometimes it just to Sell More Merchandise)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Usually crappy one shot episodes that have no connection with an on-going story arc!.
For example, if we were to read a Superman series where he's fighting an alien invasion, and we get one comic where Jimmy Olsen is trying to get a date, the Jimmy Olsen comic is a filler episode!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
