I want to start a band like Cream?!
Question: I want to start a band like Cream!?
Hey, I'm a 15 year old kid who happens to be influenced by many bands from the 60s, and I decided my favorite band is Cream!. I bought a bass recently, and I'm practicing day and night trying to teach myself!. I really want to start a band like Cream with great loud noise and improvisation that never seems to end!. Can someone please tell me where or how I should begin to find this "ultimate band"!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't know why you are asking this question in the Comics and Animation section, instead of in the Pop and Rock or even Blues sections, but you may have just forgotten to check to see what section you were posting in!.
The first thing you will need to finds is someone who can play guitar like Eric Clapton, once you have located your guitarist you will need to find a drummer who is as good as Ginger Baker!. When you have those two components of a power trio, you'll need to find someone who can play the bass like Jack Bruce, because at age 15 with less than a year of experience at playing your instrument, you aren't going to be able to play as well as Bruce who had been playing the Bass for close to fifteen years when "Fresh Cream" had been recorded!. Realistically, you aren't going to find a guitarist and a drummer who are the equals of Clapton and Baker, so you can stay with the band!.
Your first task is going to be finding a drummer and a guitarist who are also interested in starting a "power trio" which will play in the musical style of the late 60s and early 70s!. If you can do that and keep the band together for three or four years, you'll be on your way to being able to achieve your goal!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hey kid, sorry to break it to you but the music idustry is dead as of what i've heard on most radio shows!. Kids can get their music for free online (I!.e!.: limewire!.!.etc) so why would people want to pay a band/why would kids pay for music!?
At least thats what i've heard a few times!.
I used to know a guy tho who made a band (he was a few years older than you) and they formed, but got other jobs (higher paying jobs where they could make a decent amount of money) and payed clubs etc for a sidejob!.
