Archie Andrews first appeared in "Pep Comics" back in 1942, when he was telling everyone to call him "Chic" (a nick-name for Charles)!. In the 46 years since his first appearance, Archie has appeared in as many as a dozen book a month!. Granted there was a brief period when the Archie characters weren't being published by Archie but had been licensed out to Spire Publications which used Archie and his gang in an attempt to promote Christianity; the failed experiment quickly had Spire going belly up, and no comics featuring Archie nor any of his friends were published for six months or so while lawyers had a field day at a bankruptcy hearing which drug on for months, but that relatively slight delay barely slowed down the staggering number of comics Archie has appeared in!. Without checking any references online or off, I believe Archie has appeared in at least 600 issues of "Archie" alone!. I suspect there are also a minimum of another 28,000 other issues of fourteen other titles which also featured Archie and friends, not counting unusual offshoots like "Little Archie," "Archie's Weird Adventures," and the various aforementioned "Christian comics" published by Spire!. There are also a great number of digest sized books featuring Archie and friends which have been published over the past thirty years, some featuring new material, some featuring reprints from decades ago, and some featuring a mix of both!.
There is no single site where you can download all of those books, legally or illegally, and I suspect quite a few issues of various titles featuring Archie and friends have never been scanned!. Even if you are just looking for the comic series titled "Archie" which didn't start until 1944, there isn't enough space on your hard drive to hold even a fifth of that series and your Yahoo email!.
