In any of the Batman comics or graphic novels, has it ever been discussed!? What ARE the Joker's derangement's!? Is he truly insane!? I know in one of the graphic novels they thought he was faking insanity!.!.!.what do you guys think!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Joker's sanity is constantly questioned!. I myself am a fan of thinking that he walks the fine line of sadistic cruelty and pure genius!. While realizing that what he does is wrong, thus legally sane, he doesn't care but manages to fake insanity so as to get a slap on the wrist and sent back to Arkhym even for the most disgusting of acts!. We do however know he is to some degree crazy, as the Lazarus pits have the opposite effect on him giving him a brief moment of sanity, and J'onn J'onz once stated he had never seen such a corrupted mind, after trying to meld his into the Jokers!.
