Question: Give the anime freak s'more anime!!?

1!. MUST be in the following categories:
Romantic/Tragic
2!. Nothing long like Naruto
3!. NO Naruto, Bleach, Code Geass, or anything on American TV
4!. Preferably something without fighting
5!. Can't be anime where the tragedy comes from romance (unless it's really good)
6!. I've already watched Air, Kanon 2006, Ouran High School Host Club (not really tragic but whatever), Lovely Complex (remember the exception ^), Kamisama Kazoku (something like this would be awesome), and A LOT more
7!. I've tried but did not like/hated:
Ayashi No Ceres/Celestial Maiden (I HATE THE COUPLE)

First of all, I would suggest "Vampire Knight" (Romance AND tragedy)!. Both the manga and anime are really good!. It's a love triangle with tragedy, but some funny scenes!. It is also dramatic and has mystery in it!. I say read the manga, it's SO much better!. Here is a summary about it:
Yuki's earliest memory is of a stormy night in winter, wherein she was attacked by a vampire!.!.!. And then rescued by another!. Now 10 years later, Yuki Cross, the adopted daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy, has grown up and become a guardian of the vampire race, protecting her savior, Kaname, from discovery as he leads a group of vampires at the elite boarding school!. But also at her side is Zero Kiryu, a childhood friend who’s hatred for the creatures that destroyed everything he held dear, is now determined never to trust them!. This coexisting arrangement seems all well and good, but have the vampires truly renounced their murderous ways, or is there a darker truth behind their actions!. Is Kaname's infatuation with Yuki the beginning of a forbidden romance, or is it something in her forgotten past that draws him to her!. Because in this world of secrets, nothing is as it seems!. And the price of misplaced trust may even be worse than death!.

Twelve-year-old Kouyama Mitsuki was devastated when she was diagnosed with a malignant tumor of the throat!. She had made a promise to the boy she loves that she would one day become a singer, but her illness made singing impossible!. To make matters even worse, two angels of death, Takuto and Meroko, appeared to Mitsuki and informed her that she only had one year left to live!. This news provides an even greater motivation for Mitsuki to fulfill her dreams, and with a little bit of divine intervention, she begins her quest to become a professional singer so she can be reunited with Eichi before time runs out!.

Fruits Basket (romance-comedy with some drama and tragedy near the end) - You need to read the MANGA in order to see the entire story!.
Tohru Honda is 16 year old orphaned girl who gets invited to live in the house of her classmate, the handsome boy Sohma Yuki, and his cousins, 16 year old Kyo and 27 year old Shigure!. However, these young men and parts of the rest of their family (both close and distant) hold a curse; if they are hugged by the opposite gender, they transform into animals of the Chinese Zodiac!. Everyday is an adventure for sweet Tohru, as she gets to know everyone in the large family better (especially Yuki and Kyo), in both common and bizarre situations!. But, the Sohma Family curse is certainly no laughing matter!.!.!. it also holds horrible cruelity and heartbreak!.
