An evil mutant from the future named Trevor Fitzroy unleashed the Sentinels on Emma Frost and the Hellions!. Emma Frost placed herself in a psychic coma so that she could survive the attack but most of the Hellions were killed!. The X-Men brought Emma to the mansion until she woke up!. Emma possessed Iceman's body and tried to escape but she discovered that most of the Hellions were killed and became devastated!. Professor Xavier was able to coax Emma out of Iceman's body!. Shortly afterwards she had to team up with Banshee, Jubilee, Sabretooth and a few other people to try to stop the Phalanx from taking over the World!. After the Phalanx were defeated, Emma Frost and Banshee returned to her Massachusetts Academy and started up a new team of mutant teenagers called Generation X!. She lead Generation X for several years until her students learned that she had killed her sister after her sister planted a bomb at the Massachusetts Academy that killed one of the students!. Emma moved to Genosha and became a teacher but the Sentinels attacked the island and killed most of the mutants living on the island including all of her students!. Emma survived the attack because her body suddenly developed a secondary mutation where her body turned into a nearly indestructible diamond like substance!. The X-Men rescued Emma from Genosha and she took on a teaching position at the mansion and eventually became one of the X-Men!.
Jean Grey has been killed several times through the years!. The first time she committed suicide after realizing that her Dark Phoenix persona had killed billions of people and was too dangerous to continue living!. It was revealed later on that the Dark Phoenix was a copy of the real Jean Grey who eventually came out of a regenerative cocoon!.
Many years later Phoenix was killed once again by Magneto who was discovered to be the X-Men named Xorn in disguise!. Magneto/Xorn basically transferred all of his powers into Phoenix's body which caused her to suffer a stroke that killed her!.
The Phoenix Force returned to Earth after a few years and resurrected Jean!. The Shi'ar used a new experimental weapon to try to kill the Phoenix Force forever!. Jean sacrificed herself once again to save the rest of the X-Men from a blast from the weapon!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
