You need a video convertor!.
I use http://www!.magic-video-software!.com/mvc!.!.!.!. to put anime on my i-pod!.
You should really use avi as the original though!.
rmvb is already compressed and converting it to m4v or mp4 to put on a psp or ipod compresses it even more, the video quality will be bad, and you may have trouble reading subtitles (speaking from personally experience)!.

Download the avi, convert, then put them on your psp!.
