Nana, Death Note, School Rumble, Blood+ (are those on your list!? A bit baffled) Buso Renkin!.!.!.
Wouldn't call it a melodramatic romance, but its a romance nonetheless - His and Her Circumstances!. (I would recommend the manga though, as the anime goes a bit weird towards the end)!. Itazura na Kiss, Hana Yori Dango are good romance/comedies!.
Tsubasa Chroncile, Code Geass (apparently 'the' most popular anime at the moment)!.
Gunslinger Girl is quite interesting as well!. The manga is probably better than the anime though!.
