Should I give up on anime?!

Question: Should I give up on anime!?
I'm turning 17 in September, and I was just thinking, won't I get tired of anime!? When I was in seventh grade, I started watching Inuyasha!. Now, I think it's stupid and repetitive!. I'm really into anime now, and I like owning anime stuff!. But as I get older, I'm thinking I might end up not liking anime!. Should I just stop watching it now and forget about it!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

In my personal opinion, it's mainly up to you!.

However, I would suggest you to think big!. Broaden your mind a little wider!. Anime is not subjected to just those genres!. Don't limit yourself to hating one anime resulting into hating the rest!.

There are various genres of anime in which you are encouraged to explore before finally throwing in the towel!.

You can opt to go for whacky adventure genres like One Piece, or for a more rebellion-themed type like Code Geass!. Maybe mechas like Gundam and simple light comedy like Azumanga Daioh!. Or into complex themes like Ghost In The Shell!. Maybe spiritual themes like Shounen Omyouji or basic high scool themes like Ouran High Host Club!.

Personally, Inuyasha is not one of my favourites and I totally understand your boredom towards the series after watching it for a while!. Not intending to bash or anything!. It's just a personal opinion!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

How can you get tired of Anime!?! I've been into it for over nine years now, and I cannot deny that Anime is my best addiction!. It's willing to explore every possible angle of life which is taboo, unacceptable, cute, scary, violent, and so forth!

If you feel like you're "too grown-up" for Anime, look into series that are geared towards older audiences and explore deeper subjects than you might get out of the happy-high-school kids, super-power-slinging divas!. Check out of course Death Note, Le Chevalier D'Eon, Vampire Knight, Hell Girl, Ghost in the Shell, and the list goes on (just do some research)!. Great movies that might catch your eye as well are Princess Mononoke (most Anime fans own this one), Perfect Blue, Metropolis, and Grave of the Fireflies!.

There's a lot of wonder held in Anime, so don't give it up for fear of losing your imagination!Www@Enter-QA@Com

with todays lousy source of entertainment and in the scary world of television where "reality" shows rule the world and all the great cartoons to be replaced by mediocre cartoons!.!.!.a world where movies get lamer by the second!.!.!.i say never loosen that grip on anime, for i guarantee that there will always be emerging anime that may suit your taste!.

I'm turning 17 too, and i feel that i like anime and appreciate it more than ever!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'll say this, you're thinking to much of the future!. I highly doubt that you'll ever grow out of watching or reading anime/manga!.
I mean, I've never in all my life met someone who gave up on anime or manga!. I've met a lot of adults and kids!.
Sure, you'll grow out of some animes or mangas!. Like Tokyo Mew Mew or something!. You may find yourself wanting to read or watching a different anime/manga like Yu Yu Hakusho or something!.
But think about it this way, you like what you like NOW!. By what you want to NOW because for all you know, tomorrow could be the end!. And would you really wanna die knowing that you were thinking of silly things like this!?
Really, if you're so worried about regretting what you buy, remember this, you can always give it all to your kids when you have them or when they're older!. All or most kids get into anime or manga because of book stores, their parents, or the internet!. After all if they get into the same animes or mangas you liked and you bought when you were younger you don't have to buy the same things again because you already own them!.
At least that's how I like to think about this sort of stuff!. I mean, why worry about tomorrow when you have enough to deal with today!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

No!.

Maybe ease up on the buying stuff!. I bought star wars micro machines and star treck communicators and pins but though I still love the film/shows I do dot have the items any more (now I am 33)!.
Just but your favourite DVDs/Comics and allow your self one or two models!. Of course if you need something like a lunch box or a pencil case or a note book, you could choose one with your characters on and show it off proudly because you needed to buy that anyway!.

I have a totoro bento (bentos are a type of lunch box) and a hello kitty bento that I use!. I am not sure if my totoro phone holder is esential though, but I still love it!.

I have discovered that we do not actually grow up!

Keep up todate with it and the one day you may have children and you can share you passion with them! They will think you are so cool!.

If oyu feel you need to let it go for a little while you could and it will be right there waiting for you to return to it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Why would you stop watching it now!?! I think that is stupid! Sure you may grow out of it eventually but wait till that time! Why part with it so early! I have bought so much anime stuff and manga but I really don't think I'll ever get tired of anime! There is always new ones being released every season! (summer, spring, fall and winter)

I can understand why inuyasha got boring though! It kinda sucks compared to all the other great anime out there!

So my answer to your question is, NO, don't stop watching it if you still love it but if you can't get into any anime at all then by all means drop it and forget it!Www@Enter-QA@Com

One of the hardest things to watch on line movies or tv episodes is the quality offered by most of these sites!.They are mostly cam recordings and a real pain to watch!.This one has DVD quality and is highly satisfying!.

This has nothing to do with age!. There is anime for everyone!. Inuyasha is a children's cartoon!. Bible Black is a cartoon for adults!.

If you don't feel like watching children's anime then watch anime made for adults!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

nuh, like the saying goes-
growing old is inevitable,
growing up is opptional

@!.!. maybe your future children will appreciate these things you talk of!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Take a break first!. Don't watch anime for a while!. 3-4 weeks!. If you like anime you'll miss them!. And of course if u watch an anime twice is boring cuz you already know what will happen!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
