Question: An entirely original superpower!?
im completely useless at this, and after months of thinking going nowhere, ive decided to ask here!. i need a completely original superpower for a hero, one that hasnt been used before or at least once!. If you dont want me to use it jsut say so and i wont, but i need help hereWww@Enter-QA@Com

While steampunk is a genre, people try to use it realistically, and I don't think anybody has tried using steam as an actual supernatural superpower before!. At first, it might seem like a rather useless power, like blowing smoke!. But, steam can clean windows, decode secret messages, provide a fog cover, power locomotives, cause metal to rust, and so on!.
If you're going for comedy, the power of inertia might make for interesting situations in the modern era of runaway technological advances!.
There have been a lot of empaths, but as far as I know, nobody has tried tying empathic powers to science!. Maybe a superpower can be the manipulation of adrenaline!. So, the superhero might be able to calm down angry crowds by suppressing the adrenaline in their bloodstream, or he can help someone else perform better by boosting their adrenaline!.
