Suzaku is a Japanese, but works for Britannia, the country that destroyed Japan and it's ppl!. He's considered as a traitor of all the Japanese!. Nobody like traitors of their own country!.
Lelouch is not hated much coz he's on the Japanese side!. He may oppose Britannia to avenge his mother and to create a peaceful world for his sister Nunnally, but his will to co-operate with the Japanese is enough~
