A "Comic Con" means Comic Convention!. It is a place where people go to most likely at a Convention Center where to do everything physical or mental that deal with comic books as a sub-culture!.
I have been going to the main one- the San Diego Comic Con for the past few years dating back to my first visit in the early nineties!. My sister Kirsten gets free press passes based on promotions she gets while working to sell air time for radio and T!.V!. So far I have been so excited to go and see people dress up in the newest costumes based on fans favorite new characters and scifi heroes!. It is great to see and hear what all the newest hype is about at the Con!. Every year, there are so many people going to the show- even people who are not collectors go to the show to see the Batman exhibit at the DC booth because they want to support the newest feature film, or to catch a glimpse of the coolest new t!.v!. show!. It is always great to go there just to go, but it means more to be a part of something more to visit!. You can recreate your alter ego, or just find a new reason to like Green Lantern!. People say he is the greatest superhero but they still don't know its still my Uncle!. He goes with me year to year and he still has the strength to keep his number one's!. When I ask him what it was like to buy comics and know how important they are to counter culture, he would always say to people that the spirit lives on!.
