Question: Anime english subbed!?
so i juat started watching a lot of anime and im wondering who makes the subtitles!?!?!.!.becuz when im always watching (ex!. CCS, Tokyo Mew MEW) the english grammar is always off!.!.!.!.!.!?!?

Actually, it's mainly fansubbing teams!.
The reason why the grammer can be so off is because most of the translators/editors are actually teenagers!. I'm part of a manga translating team and most of us are around 13-16 years old!.
And for translators, most of them are Japanese but they came to the states or some other english speaking country when they were young!. Therefore, they never got any learning experiences with the language!.!.
If you buy the DVD and watch the anime of those with the subs, the grammer is correct because proffesionals do that!.!. >!.<Www@Enter-QA@Com

I've encountered 3 types of subtitles- native English speakers translating the Japanese, native Japanese translating into English, or some native 3rd language translating both (I've only seen this in bootlegs, and it can be terrible!)!. The 1st 2 would be "professionals", but mastering the grammar of a foreign language can be tough so it isn't surprising that it might come off as a little strange sometimes!.
There is no real standard as far as I know, though for the most part I reckon it's more or less accurate (at least enough to tell the story)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

some are by pro's and some are fan-subbed meaning normal people sub them!. so they could have spelling mistakes and thingsWww@Enter-QA@Com
