The ending was basically the same (Genkai died on the last episode/chapter) although they cut it a bit shorter than the manga version!. The anime also didn't showed most of the chapter in the last volume of Yuyu Hakusho (Volume 19)!.

Keiko asked for Yuusuke helps to solve a mystery in her college/highschool about a ghost!. Kurama solved the mystery for her anyway since Yuusuke wasn't that 'clever' to solve a mystery!.
The Gamemaster (Sensui arc) is showed to have a normal teen life!. The doctor escapes from the prison and changed her face, he later open up a clinic to helps a patient from all over the world for free with his power!. The sniper ran away from his home and it's said that he still send the money to his parent (he probably get a job as a sniper/assasin, explains where he get the money)
The announcer, referee, and nurse in the Dark Tournament (Toguro arc) now becomes a J-Pop artist and they revealed they have a crush to the contestant during the tournament!.
Yuusuke owned a Ramen Stall and has a visit from his friend and family once in a while he also get a visit from customer that need helps about a certain demon!.
The last chapter before they showed Genkai died Yuusuke, Kuwabara, Hiei, and Kurama solved a case where there were terrorist taking over the other world!.

They also didn't showed Kurama and Hiei past story!. The story showed how the two meet each other and the chapter also showed Kurama 'first love', a girl named Maya although I think it was a one sided crush since Kurama didn't really showed his feeling towards Maya!. He erased Maya memory of him and other stuff later though!. They didn't have this chapter online, so don't bother looking!. They also didn't put the chapter in the anime!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
