Nibi was pretty spot on!. It started years ago and due to the huge success of Mickey Mouse!. American cartoons were highly popular, and one of the reasons contributed as to why they were is because of their wide emotion displaying eyes, and the cuteness (the eyes also added to the cute factor)!. SO! The Japanese started drawing theirs with large eyes as well, hoping to increase their popularity and sales!. Seems to have worked!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
