Well, as for the names, Stan Lee stated it best!.!.!.back in the 50's and 60's, most superheroes' (and super villain) alter egos wouldn't have a lot of face time in the comics, leading everyone to only know them by their hero and villain names!. To make it easy for readers, they made the names have matching initials, or like sounding initials, for easy memory!. Peter Parker!. Bruce Banner!. Reed Richards!. Sue Storm!. Matt Murdock!.

Due to this, I have a feeling that the LL just so happens to be a commonly used set of initials!.

The resolving of situations, though, does get my interest piqued!. Maybe someone back in the 70's had a fixation with the letter!? Or possibly it's just a coincidence!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Silver Age Superman editor Mort Weisinger never met a gimmick he couldn't run into the ground!. The LL was often mused upon as a coincidence by Superman and his friends!. There was even a game show (I want to say Scattegories but I'm not sure) that asked for a list of LL characters as a question!.
