i just finished watching the series and its very very good indeed but it was short, i tried looking for the manga but can't find 1!.!.
anyway to your Q, yes he is one of those guys that are bad ( like vegeta,seeshomaru,etc) but from what i watch he was fighting for sakes of the vampires ( against the company)!.
his not human and actually he is much older than jirou!.
hope they make a season 2 and lots of eps like around 80 in total :))Www@Enter-QA@Com
