Ok so i just got into comics and i was wondering whats going on with captain America!. I know that he died but his comic is still going on so whats the comic about if he died!? also is he in any of the current avenger series!?

Bucky took his place His sidekick from world war two who ever one thought was dead for since the war but mysteriously came back a year or so ago and then there is a captain america who once took steve rogers place (No not us agent) This guy is currently brainwashed by the red skull to believe the current cap killed his side kick Bucky!. When actually he killed a bucky but not the one he is being accused of!. Just get book 25 and beyond oh and this months Mighty avengers proved that the cap from the ship was actually a brain washed skrull!. Steve Rogers died in Captain America (vol!. 5) #25!. With the series currently on #40, surely it must be about something!. Initially it focused on solving the mystery of how he died!. But by the time that was resolved there was a new Captain America running around!. James Buchanan Barnes, A!.K!.A!. Bucky/Winter Soldier, has taken up the mantle of his former partner!.
