It was a bit of a long movie, but I absolutely adored Heath Ledger!. Not just because he died and whatnot, but because he was actually a better actor than everyone else in that movie!.
And they didn't change Batman's name - "The Dark Night" is just a nickname for Batman!. They were trying to show that Batman and Two-Face are opposites, yet started out the same way!. Batman is the Dark Knight, going around defeating the bad guys!. Harvey Dent/Two-Face is the White Knight (you'll remember him being called that a few times during the movie), and goes around - much like Batman - defeating the bad guys and putting them in jail!.
Edit: PS: You'll be interested to know (maybe) that you share your name with the first TV actor to portray Batman - Adam West!. ;)Www@Enter-QA@Com

they called two face the white knight but when he died they tried to save his reputation by sending the police after batman, accusing him of the crimes by two-face and thus dark knightWww@Enter-QA@Com
