Why do fans hate older anime these days?!
Question: Why do fans hate older anime these days!?
I always see people on YA saying, "Please recommend me an anime to watch, no old stuff!!" As an old school anime fan, I just want to know what people have against older anime!? also, what do you consider to be an "old" anime, year wise!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I do not know unless all things older are less interesting to a newer generation of anime fans !. For me , I suppose that a line of demarcation is simply subjective and difficult to determine chronologically unless we use one of our favorite anime series or films as a point of reference , e!.g!. Ghost in the Shell in 1995 !.

I don't understand either, but my theory is that a lot of people who ask that are pretty young themselves and are more accustomed to the "newer" style!. The overall feel of the older stuff is different too!. Anime now is kind of like music now; back in the day there were a few, but those few of were higher quality, and now, with mass production, it is hard to find the true gems!.
I like to define old school anime as anything that came out prior to the 90's!. Series such has Maison Ikkoku, Lupin the III, Urusei Yatsura, Dragon Ball, Dr!. Slump, and etc!. I personally enjoy the older shows more because it's easier to find ones that are entertaining!. Nowadays, I feel like I have to do extensive research if I want to find something really good amongst all the animes that are being produced!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

personally ive never seen people who wants recommendations but doesnt want to watch old animes!.
old animes have better story lines!.
if the people dont want to watch older animes, its probably becos the animation isnt that good!.
same goes for me!. sometimes i just cant stand the animation(got used to the new animes)!.

i'm curious too; most of my favorites could be considered "old anime" i suppose (i guess YYH, RK, Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop and DBZ could be 'old anime'--- i think those were all pretty much 90s stuff)!. I really don't like naruto, but some of the newer ones like fruits basket are pretty good (i've heard many good things about death note, so i'm looking into that too)!.!.!.i also kinda like some of the styles of the older anime better than the new!. i dunno, i guess i'm one for the classics, so to speak!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
the new and the old manga aren't much diffenerent you know they just want to watch new animes that are popular today i mean people these days think that old animes aren't worth watching but they're wrong old anime have also great stories my favorite animes were from the 90'sWww@Enter-QA@Com
I dont think its really that bad!. The newer anime is just superior because of all the CGI animations and back then in the DragonBall Z and Sailor Moon days they didnt have that!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't hate them, some of them have good stories, but the art is ugly!.!.old anime!.!.are just anime before the 21st century to me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
