Question: Are anime fans discriminated against!?
I find that if I make a comment about something such as Code Geass at school I will occasionally get stares!.

You probably get stares because 'geass' is a weird word --as people that would make fun of you for watching anime probably wouldn't know what Code Geass is!.
But overall, most people don't say much, everyone has different things they like to do!.!. of course, there's always that really greasy haired kid with no friends that sits in the corner and draws anime characters that is avoided by everyone!.!. but that's normal pretty much everywhere!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have Naru from Love Hina tattooed on my back, and I have Dawn on my shoulder (ok not quite anime but still cartoonish) I've never had someone discriminate against me for liking anime, I've had people say they don't like anime to me, but its not like a religion where I'm trying to force anime down their throats!

The truth is (And this is true with almost anything not just anime) it depends on your social status already!.

If you are cool: ppl think your cooler cause your "different"
If you r normal: no one will really care
If you are a loser: most ppl will only ridicule u so don't tell lol
*Nerds are not necessarily losers so judge accordingly!.!.!.

Well there are people who judge more than others!. Sure I tease and say whats wrong with you if you're against my opinion but i wouldnt assume you're a bad perosn by the animes you like!. But if its a popular anime like naruto that a lot of people like you might get attacked by fangirls/boys so you have guts =)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well personally, it depends on the area you're schools in!. In my school, it is mostly dominated by pinoys!. And most of them are called "nerds" cause of their grades, but it doesn't matter cause they would be considered the most popular people in school!. And yes people would look at you funny if you say things like Code Geass since it is relatively new!. My friend even thought i meant to say code gey @ss!.

I like anime and am not really a complete nerd!. I actually hang out with some relatively "popular" people!. I also hang out with my 4chan /b/rothers as well! I find that anime can be brought up around fellow fans!. Others might find you nerdy!. But you know what!? I don't really care!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i always get weird looks from my friends if i mention even a name of anime so i dont tell anyone that i like it because people who dont watch it just think its weird when its not

YES!! im an anime lover and before i got my friends into anime they thought anything with anime was gay or stupid, and i wasn't able to get one of my friends into it and she gets mad whenever me and my other friends talk about it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
