That was kinda sad how he died!. Matsuda was angry because out of the police force that worked closely with Light he was the one who trusted Light the most!. But In all It was sad because Light wanted to rid the world of crime, but he was corrupted by evil thoughts about being the "God" of the knew world!. And he killed criminals like it was it job because he said it himself he was the only one that could lead everyone to a world without crime!. But along the line he twisted his philosophy and took matters into his own hands and Punished criminals (All criminals) for their wrong doings!.
