Okay, here is why Ryuk the shinigami (or origomi if you insist) decided to wrote Light/Raito (or L if you insist) name in his notebook!.!.!.

Ryuk was hoping that Light can overcome the situation by himself, and not by Ryuk helping!. When he realize that Light needed his help, he decided that Light has become useless and he wrote Light name because his 'job' will be a lot easier!.

Misa was on the subway because she already lost her memory of DN and she don't know what happen to Light at that time!. She'll know Light is already dead a year and a half later, she committed suicide after hearing that news!. She died at February 14, 2011!.

1) For the sake of the world, please get your facts straight!. It doesn't matter if YOU call him L, the rest of the world knows him by either Light or Raito!. L is a completely different person, and, if you are a fan of Death Note, you would know that!.
2) a!. Yes, he may have been shot, but if you read/watched Death Note, you would have heard Ryuk say that he would be the one to kill Light!. He kept his promise!.
b!. Misa isnt' really his girlfriend, but she doesn't have any memories of her time with the Death Note, therefore it would be useless to have her at the warehouse with him!. In fact, it would probably only hurt Light!. Not to mention I believe it was a secret meeting between those in the Police Force and those in the SPK!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

for one, that's not L, that's Light!. And they killed him because he was Kira!. Light might have survived those bullet wounds, but Ryuk told Light at the beginning of the series that he would be the one to write his name in his notebook when it was all over!.
